About David

David Aylsworth was born, raised, and educated in Ohio before moving to Houston, Texas in 1989. Prior to moving, he was actively involved in theater and performance, and was intent on pursuing a career in puppetry. His last years in Ohio focused him more onto painting, which he has been doing ever since. Paul Forsythe moved to Texas shortly after, making David extremely happy by joining him in a marriage in all things but the name since 1990. They married in 2016 and continue to make Houston their home.

His paintings have been shown throughout Texas and the United States. Currently they are represented at Inman Gallery, Houston; Holly Johnson Gallery, Dallas; and Schoolhouse Gallery, Provincetown.
