Peter Healy is an Irish artist born in Enniskillen Northern Ireland.
His colorful abstract paintings, drawings, and sculptures vary in theme, but focus mostly on the possibilities of reflecting life through creating form in our space and time.
We are all here now, we reflect that time through what we do and make. Yet we must share our space and time with all other life. Peter takes apart objects buildings and twists the shapes and form into a painted collage of matter jostling for position in the world in which they have been defined. Peter considers his work to be an ongoing visual echo chamber of the world around him. Some paintings reflect change in his life, some are thoughtful carefully assembled painted objects. Neatly organized in comfortable space, some the chaos of a big bang in color.
