Christopher Burk is a painter that is recognized for his representation of stillness in the landscape, turning the often-overlooked environments into moments of contemplation.  

Burk studied at the Columbus College of Art & Design, and the University of Akron with a focus on Painting. Currently, his work is represented with Brandt-Roberts Galleries, Columbus, OH, George Billis Gallery, New York, NY, Bonfoey Gallery, Cleveland, OH, and EVOKE Contemporary, Santa Fe, NM.

His work has earned him various recognitions, including most recently, a Visual Arts Fellowship from the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Columbus Museum of Art, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, numerous Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council along with residencies at the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation and the Vermont Studio Center.
